New Start Magazine 'In filling a gap in existing literature, the book has gone straight onto my recommended reading lists for teaching... Individual chapters will prove invaluable support for a wide range of environmental and wider planning modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and the book will be an ideal starting point for dissertation students. Those involved in doing spatial planning will also find plenty of interest in the book, and perhaps even some bedtime reading.' Journal of Environmental Policy and Planning 'The book is useful to those who seek an introduction to the mitigation-adaption debate and consequent policies in the developed world. The first two sections of the book cover important material and contain many excellent articles. They are short and, as such, could be used as a reader in an introductory course on climate change.' Roz D. Lasker, Journal of Planning Education and Research, 2010.
