Author Information

David W. Schneider was a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana, West Africa, after graduating from an American College with a B.S. in Physics and B.S. E. (Education). He started teaching physics, mathematics and a little French at a boarding school a good distance away from the main cities of Ghana. He later went back to the same school a number of times to continue teaching. These 'Worknotes' were initially made to help him outline the physics course for that school and help students prepare for their secondary school examinations. He grew up in Manchester, England, although he was born in Chicago, Illinois, USA, and was grateful for the English education he received. Secondary-school examination subjects were taken in Manchester, but he went to America to finish High School in Missouri. David was employed in the computer software field for a number of years in America, and graduated with an M.A. in Computer Information Resource Management. He taught in several schools in America, but also enjoyed teaching overseas, and hoped he could help students and teachers in many places around the world with these 'Worknotes'.
