Overview

Manual 2: Framing the Thinking Process continues to put in place the building blocks of community violence intervention introduced in Manual 1: Skill Set Development. Manual 2 expands the introductory concepts, but more importantly starts to assist the interventionist in crafting the mental process necessary during an engagement of violence intervention. The lessons and exercises are aimed at moving the interventionist from understanding and adopting the skill set to the practical application of these rules and tools. Manual 2 also starts to draft the continuum of intervention components so they link together to achieve a safe and smooth process.
