Plan. Act. Strive. Succeed. is a student planner designed for students in the Bahamian educational system. The title for this planner is based on the following: Plan - planning is vital to achieving success in the classroom and in life Act - one must take action in order to move toward the goal Strive - constant striving each day through continued action moves one closer to the goal with each passing day Succeed - success comes as a result of planning, acting and striving Plan. Act. Strive. Succeed. is truly the first planner of its kind. In addition to an assignment pad for each day of the school year, this planner contains information specific to the Bahamas, such as the country's National Anthem, Pledge, National Symbols, Bahamian Holidays, Facts and islands and their capitals. The planner also contains basic reference information for students such as Math rules, tips for writing, science etc, local emergency numbers etc The planner is a tool that is essential for keeping students organized and parents informed. The author's aim was to also have it serve as a bridge between the home and the classroom, by incorporating pages for feedback between parents and teachers. Plan. Act. Strive. Succeed. is authored by Mrs. Larissa Edgecombe, a Bahamian educator. The idea was birthed as a result of her own daughter's need for a detailed student planner at the beginning of the 2013/2014 school year and the scarce availability of local options. This first volume is specifically or junior high students. Other volumes will incorporate the primary school and senior high school levels. This planner is available as a paperback publication, in black & white as well as color.
