Reviews

Williams and Mennuti have written a comprehensive and eminently practical book for those who will be taking the Praxis exam in School Psychology. This book will ease students' anxiety, focus their studies, and strengthen their resolve. It makes the prospect of studying for the exam seem doable. -Beth Doll, PhD, Professor, School Psychology Program, University of Nebraska, Lincoln This is a comprehensive, well organized book that condenses the essential material for passing the School Psychology Praxis Exam into an easy-to-read format. I recommend it to educators and serious students in their preparations for the Praxis. Anyone ill at ease with standardized tests will find this book a welcome relief. -Tammy L. Hughes, PhD, Chair, Department of Counseling, Psychology, and Special Education, Duquesne University The original edition of PASS: Prepare, Assist, Survive, and Succeed was one of the first of its kind in the field of school psychology, and this updated version maintains that original perspective. With updates to reflect the latest professional standards, this resource will be on the `leading edge' to comprehensively prepare those studying for this Praxis test. -Candis Hogan, PhD, LPC, NCSP, CCTP, Oklahoma City University; Child-Teen-College Testing & Counseling This is an excellent reference for school psychology graduate students as they prepare for their professional training, practice, and development. The updated second edition will continue fulfilling that need for years to come by providing the most up-to-date information on the licensing exam and national practice standards. -Melissa M. Pearrow, PhD,University of Massachusetts Boston
