OverviewQuantitative analysis of Candida albicans in the epithelial lining and its correlation with microscopic features. Papillary hyperplasia is considered a form of oral candidosis, especially a form of denture stomatitis, type III according to Newton's classification (1962), which complies with clinical and microscopic criteria.
