Overview

A moving tale of the lives of ordinary South Africans today. It also tells the stories of the transition to democracy in the New South Africa, as seen through the eyes of some of the diverse people, who make up this fascinating and vibrant country. DEDICATION: This work is dedicated to all those people who over the years fought for a free and democratic South Africa. There are so many names, I could fill a book. It is especially dedicated to those who made the supreme sacrifice in paying with their lives, the supreme sacrifice . I'll only name a few: people like Steve Biko, Neil Aggett, David Webster, Abdul Timol and Hector Petersen, the schoolboy and the first shot dead in the Soweto uprising of 1976. All these people I'm sure would be pleased to see the New South Africa. It is especially dedicated to all those people who have suffered under the OLD SOUTH AFRICA of racism and oppression...and that is ALL SOUTH AFRICANS. Apartheid divided not only blacks and whites, but everyone!

Author Information

Craig is an extensive world traveller (on a shoestring budget ) and failed professional emigrater who has spent most of his lifes savings on airfares. He is still sliding down the razor blade of life on the beautiful undiscovered island that is New Zealand, somewhere near the bottom (rude!) of the world near Antarctica. There he talks to the 60 million sheep! SOME OF CRAIG'S THOUGHTS ON THE WRITING JOURNEY: About twenty-five years ago, through a strange set of circumstances and finding himself in a small town near the bottom of the world ....and with nothing else to do, Craig started writing. About 150 books later, this techno-dummy/bunny started learning more about the publishing process from his technoggeek friend, Bill. www.creativekiwis.com Life is about finding, then following the dream and one's dream/vision comes to reality through believing in yourself, making the commitment and then creating it. All our dreams can come true...if we have the desire (burning), courage, passion, persistence and patience* to pursue them...long enough. -c * the three pees from www.craigsquotes.wordpress..com Together, one mind, one life (one small step at a time), let's see how many people (and lives) we can encourage, impact, empower, enrich, uplift and perhaps even inspire to reach their fullest potentials...and strive for and perhaps one sunny day even achieve their wildest dreams. PPS Don't worry about the world ending today... as it's already tomorrow in scenic and tranquil 'little' New Zealand
