Cook's Humor Absolutely SHINES in Outward Blond. If you are looking for a fun, lighthearted, feel good book with some laugh out loud moments, Outward Blonde is the one. It's got heart, humor, drama, summer camp frivolity, and a message that will have you smiling by the time you turn the final page. - Your Entertainment Corner

Trish Cook's Outward Blonde tells the fun story of how a group of teens who would have nothing to do with each other outside of Camp Smiley come together to make the best of their situation. Each character is dealing with their own demons and Cook truly brings out the personality in each one through Lizzie's eyes. I even found myself rooting for Lizzie by the end of the book, a character I wasn't too fond of in the beginning. - NY Daily News OUTWARD BLONDE is filled with silliness and humor, but tackles some tough topics bullying and gambling, oh and lots of James Franco. OUTWARD BLONDE has a great balance of humor and heart, silliness and seriousness. - Actin' Up With Books Fans of Legally Blonde and Miss Congeniality will eat this book up and not want to put it down. The comedic writing style with the few sentiment and important moments will keep you hooked. - Rose Gold Class Cook's Humor Absolutely SHINES in Outward Blond.
