Out Of My Church Hurt Came Ministry is a book of hurt but yet hope, discouragement but yet encouragement, not to tear down but to build up, helplessness but yet of hopefulness. You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is being done now, the saving of many lives (Gen.50:20, NIV). This book is not to discredit God, it is to acknowledge that hurt happens in the church, it happened Kennedy Lin and it continues to happen even now. It was difficult for Kennedy Lin to understand the purpose of all the hurt, betrayal and disappointments she endured while in the church and with church people. She understands it now. She now knows, what the elders meant when they said, You'll understand it all, after while by and by.
