Author Information

David Bedford has always loved to read and after working as a NATO Scholar scientist in America decided to start writing stories full time. His career change has seen him publish 15 books, which have been translated into many languages around the world. David is well known for his picture books, including It's My Turn!, Big Bears Can! and Big Bear, Little Bear. His most recent books with Little Hare include Time for Bed, Isobel, Who's Laughing? And The Way I Love You. David has also created a series of junior novels, The Team, about a football/soccer team that doesn't always win! Titles include: The Soccer Machine/The Football Machine, Top of the League, Soccer Camp, Superteam and Banned! The fast paced and comical books promote trying hard and doing your best. David also regularly participates in workshops with children in schools, libraries and football clubs, using sport as inspiration to promote creativity in writing. David lives with his wife and two children in Norfolk, England.
