OverviewThe research seeks to analyse the sometimes ambiguous and conflicting relationships between masculinity, aggression and religion of adolescents in conflict with the law related to the Comando Vermelho (CV) - from two detention facilities in Rio de Janeiro. The analysis will be based on discursive and bodily performances, values and agonistic images that suggest violence as a value that reinforces masculinity and also confronts the law, the state and coexists with faith.
