OverviewPlants are multicellular and eukaryotic organisms. Its cells differ from the animal cell in that they have organelles called plastids and vacuoles (also called cellular juice vacuole or central vacuole). In addition, they have a cell wall, and cellulose is the main component of this structure. Plants are classified as autotrophic organisms, since the vast majority are capable of photosynthesis. The exception is the parasitic plants, being observed some achlorophyllous species, therefore, non-photosynthetic, and that remove the carbohydrates from which they need host plants.
