Though their existence is shrouded in rumor and mystery, the American authors Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez first published Ninja Slayer in a college literary magazine. Some time later, Japanese translators Yu Honda and Leika Sugi came across the original material and helped the authors publish the title on Twitter, making it an underground success in Japan that resulted in the publication of novels, manga, and an upcoming animated series.
