Author Information

"Dr. Fran White is a licensed marriage and family therapist and psychologist and has been practicing in this field for over thirty years. She has evaluated the cognitive abilities and learning problems of children in the schools and provided diagnostic evaluations and recommendations to children and their families with academic challenges such as Dyslexia. As a mother and grandmother of nine little angels, she has personally experienced the frustrations associated with learning differences. She was inspired to write this book in her work with discouraged and frustrated children experiencing reading problems. Dr. White's philosophy is ""KNOWLEDGE IS POWER' and when a child and their families understand a problem, they can then overcome any challenge."
