CANDICE RANSOM is the author of more than 130 books for children and young adults. In the summer, she teaches children's literature at Hollins University. The rest of the year she writes books! She and her husband live in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with their cat Atticus, aka The Worst Cat in the World. But they love him anyway and hope one day he will learn to behave better.
