Must-Read for Students New to School! My Lil' First School describes Brooke Lynn's excitement and trepidation before and during her first few days in school. Helpful questions at the end of the book are wonderful for teachers and parents in getting students to think about the content comprehensively. I enjoyed the unforced, natural poetry (rhyme and meter) incorporated throughout the book.
