Gaby Morgan is an Editorial Director at Macmillan Children's Books. She has compiled many bestselling anthologies including Read Me and Laugh: A Funny Poem for Every Day of the Year, Poems from the First World War, Fairy Poems - which was short-listed for the CLPE Award - and the Macmillan Collector's Library poetry series featuring anthologies on Happiness, Nature, Childhood, Travelling and Christmas. John Glenday's first collection, The Apple Ghost, won a Scottish Arts Council Book Award and his second, Undark, was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Grain (Picador, 2009), also a Poetry Book Society Recommendation, was shortlisted for both the Ted Hughes Award and the Griffin International Poetry Prize. His fourth collection The Golden Mean, also published by Picador, was shortlisted for the Saltire Scottish Poetry Book of the Year and won the 2015 Roehampton Poetry Prize. His Selected Poetry was published by Picador in 2020.
