Edna Siniff is a graduate of Michigan State University. Taught 5th grade in Biloxi, Mississippi, 8th grade Language Arts and Geography in Anchorage, Alaska, 5th grade in Scandia, Minnesota, Developed the Country Messenger Newspaper which serves Scandia and May Twp. and the city of Marine on St. Crox in Minnesota, sold in 1993. Began publishing in 1984. Created Country Messenger Publishing Group to support new and developing authors, from which she is retired. Has a long career as a journalist writing for rural newspapers. Is an accomplished competitive Archer, a sport she continues today. Is active in her church, Christ Lutheran in Marine on St. Crox, MN. Reflects on the house she built in the mountains of Washington State after reaching retirement age.
