My name is Maria Rico and I am more than happy to present to you this fun and interactive story. Musica en la carretera is a collection of short stories to learn Spanish. It tells the story of Verano Espanol, a pop band touring around Spain. Level 2 students will find this book understandable and readable and will be able to find new vocabulary and expressions to improve their level. Reading is a very important part of the learning process when it comes to a new language. Taking into account how difficult it is to create a catchy and entertaining story when you have to focus so much on the student's perspective, I have tried to do my best. My intention is that the students can learn and improve Spanish without making a big effort when reading. And most importantly, that they have fun reading. Moreover, music will accompany them in this journey. But there is something different about this book! Not only you will find a special glossary at the end of the novel, but you will have words in bold and italics throughout the story, and also, activities at the end of the novel!This is a very practical part, the expressions explained in the glossary are more colloquial and widely used in Spain. Now, read and learn Spanish!
