Author InformationGretchen Brandenburg McLellan grew up in a military family, living all over the United States and in Germany. She holds degrees from George Mason University and the University of Oregon and is a former reading specialist. The author of several picture books, she lives in Washington. Grace Zong was born in Illinois and moved to Korea when she was seven. She returned to the United States to study art at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she majored in illustration.
