Author Information

Cecilia H. Lanier, MEd, is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach in private practice in Alabama, and a course facilitator at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy. With 25 years of experience as an educator, Ms. Lanier found her deepest passion in coaching fellow teachers during the final years of her teaching career. Motivational interviewing is the primary influence in her work. Patty Bean is a Nebraska-based, Internal Family Systems-informed coach and licensed massage therapist in private practice. She is certified as a Master Wayfinder Life Coach, a Professional Certified Coach of the International Coaching Federation, a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. She has worked as a course facilitator at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy. In addition to her coaching work, Ms. Bean teaches online QiGong, meditation, and yoga classes. Stacey C. Arnold is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach in private practice in Georgia. She is also a certified personal trainer and certified Dietary Supplement Specialist, and an experienced organic gardener. In her coaching practice, Ms. Arnold has particular interests in gut health and sustainable, healthy living. Before becoming a coach, her professional experience included working in real estate and human resources.
