Author Information

Harm den Boer, Ph. D (1992) in Spanish Literature is a Full Professor at the Seminar fur Iberoromanistik, Universitat Basel. He is author of La literatura sefardi de Amsterdam (Alcala de Henares, 1996), and a wide ranging number of articles on Early Modern Iberian Literature. He has published Spanish and Portuguese printing in the Northern Netherlands 1584-1825 (Brill, 2003), and is editor of Sephardic Editions 1550-1820 (Online Primary Source Collection, Brill). Jorge Ledo, Ph. D (2009) at the Centre for Modern Thought (University of Aberdeen, UK), is Assistent in Iberoromanischer Literaturwissenschatf at the Institut fur Iberoromanistik (Universitat Basel). He has been Visiting Assistant Professor at Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Michigan. He is finishing his second PhD at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, an edition and study of the Ingeniosa comparacion entre lo antiguo y lo presente (1539), by Cristobal de Villalon and preparing his first dissertation ( Prolegomena to the Study of Renaissance Dialogue and Conversation ) for press.
