Author Information

Connie Colwell Miller is a writer, editor, and teacher who lives and works in Mankato, Minnesota. She studied writing at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and went on to earn her Masters in Fine Arts in creative writing at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she won an award for her poetry manuscript. She has written over 25 books for kids and published parenting essays and poetry online and in journals around the country. She spends her free time goofing around with her husband and three young, highly spirited children. Maira Chiodi is an Illustrator and Surface Pattern Designer with a graphic design background. Her work already appeared in magazines, books, games, and wall decals, among other products. Her style is joyful and colorful, with a hint of humor that pleases grown-ups and children alike. She's inspired by nature, animation and the culture from her home country, Brazil. Her imaginary always produces funny weird beings, resulting in a magical and playful universe, where the spectator is immersed in childhood world.
