We are teaching mostly freshmen, so we have a lot of different ability levels to deal with. We have very few complaints at all, and students like that the purchasing options with MindTap offer lower cost options. MindTap integrates into our LMS easily, and the activities are very flexible and easy to integrate into the course. MindTap helped me level the playing field for all of my students, and allowed me to create assignments that were a true extension of the content. Over time, I've replaced a good chunk of the grade that was in class exams and put more weight on the week-to-week quizzes. I like the ability to move away from having such a significant weight in the class on high stakes testing. It allows students to learn more consistently throughout the semester. Students are held accountable for working a considerable amount of time each week....They must engage with the material that is assigned in MindTap. With MindTap, it's so simple to find out which students are struggling in class. You pull up the analytics window and the students who are outliers are clearly identified in the lower left-hand quadrant. Author InformationJonathan M.
