Dr. Fakir Mohan Sahoo, now with the XIM University, Bhubaneswar, India. He was Professor and Head in the Centre of Advanced Study in Psychology, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India. He received Commonwealth Scholarship and obtained his doctoral degree from Queen's University, Canada. He was the recipients of University Grants Commissions Emeritus Fellowship, Career Award in Humanities and Social Sciences, Indo-Shastri Fellowship offered by Shastri Institute and Professional Associateship offered by the East-West Center, Honolulu, U.S.A. He has several books (both in English and Odia) and a large number of research papers in national and international journals to his credit. He chaired a session of the International Congress of Psychology held in Brussels, Belgium. He has also visited countries such as Canada, U.S.A., U.K., France, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Australia, Singapore and the U.A.E. His creative writings in Odia had earned him several literary awards including Jhankar Award by Prajatantra Prachar Samiti.
