This reference prepares students to take the exam with easy-to-read essential material summaries that highlight key areas of the major clinical and administrative parts of a Medical Assistant's program. Each of the chapters includes a series of 20 to 30 multiple choice quiz questions and a concise outline of key information. The CD-ROM included free in each book provides more than 1500 sample review questions as well as a PowerPoint presentation for additional student review. The review questions include rationales for answers and correlations to certification competencies. There is also a correlation to the textbook location where the information is covered.

Author Information

Dr. Moini was assistant professor at Tehran University School of Medicine for 9 years, teaching medical and allied health students. The author is a professor and former director (for 15 years) of allied health programs at Everest University (formerly Florida Metropolitan University). Dr. Moini reestablished the Medical Assisting Program in 1990 at Everest Universitys Melbourne campus. He also established several other new allied health programs for Everest University. He is currently an adjunct professor of science at Eastern Florida State College. Dr. Moini has been physician liaison of the Florida Society of Medical Assistants since 2000. He has been a marketing strategy team member of the National AAMA and president of the Brevard County chapter of the AAMA. He has been a published author of various allied health books since 1999.
