Author Information

Michelle Blesi, MA, CMA (AAMA), is a full-time faculty member and Program Director at Century Community College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Michelle has over 35 years of combined experience in the health care industry and the education field. The author of MEDICAL ASSISTING ADMINISTRATIVE AND CLINICAL COMPETENCIES textbook and SME on several other allied health titles and ancillary products, including MOSS and CTC 3.0, Michelle enjoys bringing her career experience into the classroom and making a difference in students' lives. In addition to being Program Director, she teaches both Clinical and Laboratory courses and Administrative Procedures for Medical Assistants, both traditional and online. Additionally, she is the practicum coordinator and oversees the clinical externships for the program. Michelle has been awarded the Board of Trustees Outstanding Educator Award, Golden Apple Award and Exemplary Faculty Member during her tenure at the college.
