He previously served as pastor at the Westside and Webb Mills United Methodist Churches in the Elmira, NY area. During his ministry, his leadership has focused on training clergy and laity on applying project management in the church to achieve effective project implementation, as well as to better utilize the limited resources within the local church. Vincent writes on issues of leadership and local church history. He is the author of Managing Projects in Ministry, published by Judson Press (2017). Vincent W. Howell, Jr., MBA, and is an active lay member of the First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, TN. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Tennessee State University, MBA in Project Management from Strayer University. Vincent has held a variety of IT positions and is currently a Senior IT Business Analyst. Over the years, he has participated local church audio visual ministries, website development, and transportation ministries.
