Hansen has selected a style that engages young learners and develops the language to discuss their learning. With carefully selected characters to make their points, the ideas are clearly communicated in an entertaining way. Comprehension is supported through the repetition of child-parent talk, followed by the teacher's surprising positivity. A great story for young people and their families which works across a variety of cultures.
