Author Information

Amanda Doering Tourville is the author of more than 15 books for children. Her book Rain Forest ABC: An Alphabet Book (Capstone Press, 2004) was nominated for the 2005-2006 Mocking Bird Award. The same book was also on the American Library Association's booklist of Outstanding Science Read-Alouds. Amanda currently lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with her husband and her chinchilla. She loves animals and would have an entire zoo if she could. She also enjoys traveling and photographing wonderful, exotic places. Her photography has been featured in books and magazines.
