While there are a lot of aspects to this, her most valuable piece of advice for anyone in business is simple: always use your manners and always try to get along with the people around you. She has found that these simple tactics can yield exceptional results. She had the idea to write this book by watching her grandchildren grow up in a world where manners are not always taught-or at least not always taught well. She has hosted Camp Nana at her home in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the past sixteen years as a place for her grandchildren to sing, dance, write silly stories, and practice using their manners to get along. Ralph Voltz's career began at age thirteen with a cartoon commission for a German sci-fi series written by his dad. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Ralph has illustrated more than 500 book covers for various publishers as well as children's books, 3-D animations, murals, and magazines. In his spare time, he teaches art and design at King's College, coaches his daughter's rec soccer team, and follows Bundesliga games. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, Laura, and daughters, Carly and Josephine. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
