Prior to her joining Deakin University, she was a Lecturer at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She also holds a Docentship (Adjunct Professorship) in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Oulu University in Finland. She undertook a postdoctoral research scholarship and was a Visiting Researcher at the Graduate Institute of Industrial Engineering, National Taiwan University from 2009 to 2011. Her expertise lies in organizational learning and development (OLD), technological innovation and entrepreneurship (TIE), engineering education, and smart industrial initiatives (SII). She has been invited as a visiting scholar to Taiwan, Thailand, and Europe (Finland and Slovenia), and she has been active as a professional OL consultant promoting project-based action learning (PAL) in high-tech organizations. Her publications include books, book chapters, and journal articles (SCI and SSCI indexed). Andrew WH Ip has more than 30 years of experience in teaching, research, education, industry, and consulting. He earned a PhD at Loughborough University (UK), an MBA at Brunel University (UK), and an MSc in industrial engineering at Cranfield University (UK) and received an LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (UK). He is Professor Emeritus of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan and a Principal Research Fellow in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also a visiting professor at various universities in mainland China and an Honorary Industrial Fellow at the University of Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group, UK. Professor Ip has published nearly 250 papers, with over 150 papers in SCI-indexed journals, and more than 130 papers at conference proceedings as well as books and book chapters. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Enterprise Information Systems, Taylor & Francis (SCI Indexed), and the Editor-in-Chief and Founder of International Journal of Engineering Business Management, SAGE (ESCI- and SCOPUS-indexed), and an editorial member of various international journals. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). Brij B Gupta earned a PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India, in the area of information and cyber security. In 2009, he was selected for a Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship award by the Government of Canada ($10,000). He has published more than 250 research papers (including 8 books and 22 book chapters) in international journals and conferences of high repute, including IEEE, Elsevier, ACM, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, Inderscience, etc. He has visited Canada, Japan, Australia, China, Spain, Hong Kong, Italy, Malaysia, Macau, etc. to present his research. Shuang Geng is an Assistant Professor at the College of Management, Shenzhen University, China.
