OverviewNature is the Gift of God and it composed of all essential items for maintaining a healthy comfortable life sustainably for all organisms in the world if utilized properly. The three pillars of sustainable development were widely agreed at the 1992 Earth Summit to be economic viability, environmental sustainability and social equity. The emerging discipline of natural and environmental resource management helps to design a better design, where the three pillars are in a more appropriate balance. Appropriate policies for natural and environmental management for sustainable development are being sought by many in the present era. However, as highlighted by the World Conference on Environment and Development held in Rio de Janiero in 1992, political processes of searching for workable solutions such problems face many obstacles. But in any case political processes must also be supplemented by in-depth economic analysis and careful identification of issues and workable policies.
