The need for authenticity and substance are timeless aches which are rooted in lives riddled with uncertainty and sorrow. As such the aversion is high to the superficial and to words which are rusty from having lived too long in cramped spaces. . . . While we ricochet between believing and doubting, the wish is high for ancient truths which arrive in a grounded wisdom. This book is a good companion to that end. It speaks to a meaningful faith and perspective without resorting to platitudes. The result is an aid which runs deep and helps the reader to be a pilgrim and not just a visiting tourist. --Michael Palmer, Bryan College Sandy issues a timely challenge for us all as we strive to make our life count. He reminds us that we should not lose heart because the journey is worth it as we live to our fullest God-given potential by seeking to have an eternal perspective that does not settle for shallow, trite, or frivolous goals. This book will encourage and challenge you in a way that will strengthen your resolve to represent Jesus well with your life! --David Ivarson, Stuart Heights Baptist Church Dr. Sandy Zensen has served for many years as a coach, mentor, pastor, and teacher. He combines those experiences and his own years of well-earned wisdom into a text that encourages the young Christian as well as the well-seasoned and much travelled follower of Christ into a deeper walk with Christ. Combining a biblical foundation with anecdotes from his years of ministry Sandy points us to cross of Christ and the grace of God extended to all and also to a life lived in deep and abiding communion with the Savior. This warm and engaging text adeptly combines inspiration and encouragement with a daring and challenging call to discipleship and a life lived in deep communion with Christ. I highly recommend this text for anyone who seeks to live a life that goes deep in relationship with Christ. --Douglas F. Mann, President, Bryan College
