Table of ContentsReviewsWe talk about prayer and faith, but it is easy to forget that we need to live as if we have that incredible faith. We must be instruments to bring about the changes we and others need. Living By Faith gives a very personal look into the life of a devout Christian family in a tiny village. Be ready for the emotions as you read through this story of hardships overcome with faith. --Pastor Bill Campbell Heartfelt story of the lives of this very faithful Christian family. The pictures, while not perfect, show their lives in a very real way. Great story, well-written. Quite thought-provoking. --Tracy Hall Few of us have the faith and fortitude that the people of Yonna display in this book. D.Kann offers us a chance to view the lives of these people as if we are actually there. Well-written and informative. I hope the author will consider a sequel to Living By Faith. --Kelly McDougall Living By Faith details a snapshot of the life of a family in a small impoverished village in rural Gambia. Although monetarily poor, these people show great faith and are willing to work hard to improve life for themselves and their village. The author has included many quotes and original photos that boost this already inspirational true story. Very well-told story. --Andrew Brown Author InformationDiane Kann was born in Celoron, New York and grew up on a farm in Centralia, New York. The entire family was active in the 4H program and fundraising and assistance for people in need throughout her youth and adult life. She and her husband have nine children, including four by adoption, all homeschooled through high school. The family lives on a small farm in Christmas, Florida and continues to provide help to others, personally and through the church. An avid reader and writer, Diane designs websites and enjoys blogging and content writing. Although she focuses on nonfiction, she also enjoys science fiction and writing for children and young adults. Diane believes that God gave us each talents to use to help others and make our world a better place. Therefore, she has continued the tradition of helping others that her parents mentored, including decades as a volunteer with the 4H, homeschooling, and church communities.
