Table of ContentsReviewsSo many times kids books excessively personify animals to the point that it may distort kids understanding of animals. This book is the opposite, it brings Bailey to life, acting exactly as a puppy would and having owned many dogs myself I can relate to all the emotional stages that Bailey went through, great for kids to understand and empathize with animals. Living with dogs is a big responsibility as they have to be cared for to be happy and healthy and it's also plenty of FUN, kids get to understand all that in this short story. Great book, I loved it!
