John B. Robinson is the director of the SustainableDevelopment Research Institute and a professor in the Department ofGeography at the University of British Columbia. He is co-editor ofManaging Natural Resources in British Columbia: Markets,Regulations, and Sustainable Development (UBC Press 1995) andAchieving Sustainable Development (UBC Press 1996).
