Reviews

One of the book's greatest strengths lies in its emphasis on addressing the root cause of imposter syndrome rather than merely treating the symptoms. Choo empowers readers to confront their insecurities head-on and embrace their true potential with practical advice and real-world experience rather than abstract theories. This is a phenomenal book. Having personally experienced Imposter Syndrome I was totally unaware of how detrimental it could be to my career. This book is excellent at raising awareness and provides many powerful strategies and tools to help you have a more empowering sense of your own value. If you're struggling with imposter syndrome or overthinking, pick this book up. This book features visual presentations of the conceptualized ideas described in the book. The author seamlessly weaves words of wisdom in a story format. This book also provides scripts to help you pivot your default inner dialogue. The author's compassionate approach feels like a warm hug, guiding me through the tangled web of self-doubt with practical strategies that actually work. Each chapter is like a beacon of light, illuminating the path towards self-acceptance and empowerment. I finally feel equipped to silence the relentless voice of doubt and embrace my worth. If you've ever felt like a fraud, this book is your lifeline to freedom. I have read a few books on Imposter Syndrome, and Letting Go of Imposter Syndrome by Serena Choo is the best I've read. The writer's approach is authentic in that you are not just provided with facts and surface-level solutions to overcome this condition but with tools for deeper understanding. This book provides opportunities for self-reflection and evaluation and offers new perspectives and examples to use in everyday life. A really well written self-help book with the author's attention to detail, expertise, and experience in being able to share her wisdom and articulate perfectly to provide a great self-help book. Clear talking, practical and useful (even for those without imposter syndrome). - Elizabeth J Floyd, London Culture Companion
