Overview

Find refuge and peace from life's obstacles with every inspired verse. We are all looking for a place where we can go and experience some peace, a little rest from the weariness of being inundated by so many worrisome things, and, possibly, some joy in the process. The news bombards us, our children suffer sometimes in unimaginable ways, families seem to be so far apart mentally and physically, our friends have their own views about things, and even the churches are divided. Lele's Selah is a refuge. It's a place of peace and a haven of hope. It's a collection of poems that inspire and birth aspirations when there seem to be none that are reachable. Come and experience what you've been looking for-a cadence of quiet and a rhythm of rest. This book is not just a collection of poems; it's an invitation to pause, reflect, and find the solace you seek. Let each verse inspire you, uplift you, and bring you closer to God in the midst of life's challenges.

Author Information

Lele's spiritual journey began at age 16 when she climbed to the top of a mountain in Colorado and invited Jesus into her heart. It was at that moment that her new life commenced and she became aware of all the ways God could speak to her through the spirit she received. After many years of study, classes, Bible reading, prayers, and experiencing a life-altering divorce and the death of a son, she realized she must write down the things she'd seen and heard. This book of poetry is a compilation of years of inspired listening and writing.
