English summary: Bodily Self-Determination. The Protection of Bodily Autonomy under German Fundamental Rights in the Light of Human Enhancement The work examines the debate on human enhancement and analyses it in terms of German constitutional law and the protection of bodily freedoms. Results: The constitutional protection of body-related freedoms follows two principles: that of physical integrity and that of bodily autonomy. A fundamental right to bodily self-determination is not only necessary in order to regulate future technologies. It sheds light on the overall concept of body-related freedoms in the German constitution. German description: Die Schutzbedurftigkeit der Freiheit uber den eigenen Korper zu verfugen, liegt auf der Hand. Die Grunde und Grenzen entsprechenden Grundrechtsschutzes erscheinen in der Praxis jedoch auf den Einzelfall bezogen und unsystematisch. Die Arbeit versucht eine Systematisierung dieses Feldes anhand der Debatte um das sog. Human Enhancement. Die philosophische Debatte wird fur die Rechtswissenschaft aufbereitet und verfassungsrechtlich ausgewertet. Daraus ergeben sich zentrale Thesen: Der grundrechtliche Schutz korperbezogener Freiheiten folgt (mindestens) zwei Prinzipien, namlich dem der korperlichen Integritat und dem der korperlichen Autonomie. Letzteres findet bislang in keinem anerkannten Grundrechtstatbestand eine adaquate Auspragung. Ein Grundrecht auf leibliche Selbstbestimmung ist nicht nur erforderlich, um Zukunftstechnologien regulatorisch abzubilden. Es erhellt das Gesamtkonzert der korperbezogenen Freiheitsrechte des Grundgesetzes auch in bekannten Konstellationen.
