Overview

Legacy Park is a photo book about the Legacy Park in Malibu, California. The park was dedicated in the fall of 2010. It is a community treasure. It is located in the heart of Malibu between the coastal mountains and the Pacific Ocean. It contributes to maintenance of the residual 1% of native coastal terrain by providing, in addition to a riparian corridor, wet meadows, vernal pools, coastal prairie, woodlands and coastal bluffs. Walking paths make the area easily accessible. A variety of birds may be seen in the park. Plant life is appropriate to the various terrains provided in the park. Artistic and colorful animal figures dot the area. Beyond this, Legacy Park contributes to the community improvement of water quality. Photography was performed by the author.
