Angelique 4.0 out of 5 stars Informative, practical, and encouraging This was an informative read, and it's also a book that should be read by many. A lot of times we assume that entrepreneurs are just natural leaders, but I think this is because most people actually don't know all that's necessary for effective leadership. In this book the authors provides a lot of insight into what goes into effective leadership and what goes into being an effective entrepreneur and how that looks in the context of building a business. With that said, this book needs editing. There are so many formatting and editing errors that I honestly didn't read this to the end. But if that were fixed, I'd probably recommend this. The two topics are intertwined so it makes sense to learn about both at the same time. I like that this book takes a step by step approach so it's easy for an entrepreneur at any stage of the game to pick up the techniques. The chapter on relationship building I found the most useful. Regardless of the industry that you're in you will find the techniques in this book useful. As an entrepreneur, each day is a challenge, you have to keep a positive mindset . . this book is great for that. The most valuable section is the chapter on hiring employees and the characteristics of each type, which is important for anyone in the talent acquisition process. Review is based on a reader copy that did contain some formatting errors. Overall, the book is targeted to complete beginners.
