Overview

"This is the TRUE and disturbing story of how an ordinary family can easily be Cyber-Stalked, and tormented by a person who is very adept at internet hacking. The family is also repeatedly victimized by those who are supposed to protect, law enforcement. The family is ""Catfished"" by Instagram profiles claiming to be the extended family of their daughter's Pediatric Urologist. She (the doctor) tells the parents, in a private post-surgery conference room, that this (Social Media Activity) had happened to her before, and that maybe the mother could be her ""Guardian Angel"" and help to figure this out. The doctor asks if they would speak with her ""Go-to-Person"", the hospital's Security Guard Captain. The parents answered in unison ""Sure"". The reason the couple decided to speak with the doctor about this activity, in the first place, is because her life had been threatened! So, they told her that they would speak with ""Go-to-Person"". Unbeknownst to the couple, they had just stepped into a very dark web of criminal activity. The police were supposedly notified and were supposed to come to hospital to speak with the couple. Hours passed and the daughter was released from recovery. The police never showed up. A few days later, the mother gets a text from the ""doctor's husband"". He texted that his wife, the doctor, told him about what happened to us (the Catfishing) and he was very sorry to hear about it. Because of the deception that had been used thus far, the mother becomes wary of this person texting her. Remember, the Police hadn't contacted them yet to talk about all of this activity. The mother expresses reasonable doubt as to the true identity of this person now texting her. Eventually, the texter grows very agitated and texts ""I'm her ""Go-to Person"". This is a very fast-moving book. Doctors and law-enforcement, those 'forces for good"" in our lives can turn to being ""forces for evil"". When this happens and is combined with a Cyber-Stalker with hatred in his heart, this ""ordinary family"" is brought to the brink of being completely destroyed. The author is a life-long personal friend of the family who has been a witness to this family's four years of torment.
