Overview

Justice is among the words mostly used in the world. In fact, everybody all over the world has an idea of justice and fairness. People are supposed to know the laws based on the principles of justice, i.e. the fair treatment of people. As we can just see it, nowadays in almost all the countries of the world people are demonstrating for peace and democracy. Women are just demanding equal rights and justice. They are claiming for their emancipation and gender respect. This normally implies, on the one hand, that everybody is endowed with the notion of justice from birth and, on the other hand, justice has not yet been applied fully in the world. We still have so many things to do so as to promote justice in this world. Similarly, in our cultures, people have the notion of Justice. This is plainly seen not only through the manner of living of people but also through their proverbs and language terms which are the expression of their customs and beliefs. Several researchers have worked on different aspects of the Shi culture but no one has written a thesis on language terms of Justice in the Shi culture.
