She joined the School in September 2010 and her teaching has included Property Law (Land Law and Equity & Trusts), the Law of Restitution and commercial property development at undergraduate level and Property Law & Practice and Business Law & Practice at postgraduate level. A qualified solicitor, she leads the School’s Commercial Law student pro bono group. Kate Campbell-Pilling is a qualified solicitor. She moved from private practice to the School of Law at The University of Sheffield in 2004. Her teaching and assessing has included Property Law, Equity & Trusts and commercial property development at undergraduate level and Property Law & Practice, Commercial Property and Legal Skills at postgraduate level. She is the School's Director of Employability and Enrichment and was awarded OUP's Law Teacher of the Year 2024. Kate Campbell-Pilling qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and specialised in commercial property acting for clients in both freehold and leasehold transactions. In 2004 she moved from practice to teach law at The University of Sheffield. She primarily teaches on the Legal Practice Course and the GDL in Law.
