Author Information

Elisa Thomas is an Assistant Professor at the University of Houston Downtown (USA) and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Stavanger (Norway). She is one of the leaders of the Special Interest Group on Responsible Innovation at the International Society for Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM). Her research interests include entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems, the role of universities in regional development, and open innovation intermediaries. Kadígia Faccin is a Professor at FDC Business School. Her research interests are linked to studies on collaborative innovation, inter-organizational knowledge management, innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems. She is used to using qualitative methodologies, especially process data approaches. She holds her Ph.D. in Administration at the Unisinos University (Brazil) and Information Science and Communication at the University of Poitiers (France). Bruno A. Bittencourt is an Assistant Professor at Unisinos (Brazil). He was visiting researcher at Kedge Business School (France) and Bologna University (Italy). He is one of the leaders of the Academic Division in Competences, Behaviour, and Culture for Innovation at the Brazilian Academy of Management (ANPAD). Bruno's research areas are: i) orchestration and articulation of actors oriented towards innovation and sustainability; ii) innovation clusters, networks and ecosystems and iii) education for innovation and sustainable development. Olivier Coussi is Associate Professor of Territorial Management at the University of Poitiers (France). He spent five years as a practitioner in technology transfer and research promotion, and 11 years as an FDI consultant for Invest in Western France, the agency responsible for promoting foreign direct investment. Since 2011, he has been teaching strategy (including geopolitical dimensions), economic and competitive intelligence and international project management. His research focuses on a critical perspective of territorial economic intelligence, public management and the study of public policies in support of innovation.
