Marsay Wells-Strozier is the author of Keira & Me: Homonyms and Homophones, an educational series of books for K-12 students. Published by her company, Yasram Global Industries, LLC, the book involves the adventures of Keira, a nine-year-old girl who travels around the world singing with the Sally Court Club Band whose members are animals that are endangered species. Keira and the band are managed by her Aunt Marsay, a private primary school teacher. Wells-Strozier has devoted 16 years of her professional career, educating children and adults in Flint and Detroit, MI. As the founder of the not for profit organization, Center for Higher Educational Achievement (CHEA), she seeks to help families put the puzzle of life together by providing: uniquely structured adult education and job training programs, workshops, low income housing and affordable performing arts programs for low income children, in Genesee County. She is a contributing editor to Examiner.com on Urban Education, and also the founder of the Genesee County Master Mind Group. An educator and entrepreneur, Wells-Strozier earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Baker College in Flint, MI; a Master of Arts Degree in Education and Instruction and a Master of Science Administration Certificate in General Administration, both from Central Michigan University. She is completing a Doctorate of Education Degree from Walden University in Administrator Leadership Teaching and Learning in Boston, MA.
