As a life-long animal lover, Anna Grob was led to volunteer as a docent at Brookfield Zoo near Chicago IL. She is privileged to have observed and studied elephants in zoos around the country. With the ever growing ivory trade, and an increase in orphaned elephants, Anna feels it is important to teach readers about the challenges these intelligent animals face in the wild.
