Author Information

Kerensa Peterson has been a Lead Tutor for Kaplan Premier, prepping high school students for the SAT and ACT for the last four years. She holds a MFA from the University of Florida, where she was awarded Graduate Student Teacher of the Year in 1998, and a BFA from Emporia State University. While acting, directing. and writing for various theaters, she also teaches at Kennedy-King College on Chicago's South Side. Mary A. Wink has a B.A. in English and mathematics from Bates College and an M.A. in English Education from New York University. She has taught high school English and worked in corporate communications training. As a Kaplan private tutor, Mary has been helping students prepare for college entrance exams since 2000. Andrew Marx is a teacher and writer in Richmond, Virginia. He has taught middle school and high school math, as well as symbolic logic at the college level. Having contributed to Kaplan Test Prep publications as a mathematics writer and editor, he is a SAT and SAT II subject matter authority. He holds a Ph.D. from City University of New York.
