He is the author of thirty four books about tribal culture, literary criticism, fiction and collections of contemporary poetry including Mudulipada Ra Loke, Kichi Katha Kichi Byatha, Dhola O Anyanya Galpa and Sabda Sangam and received many awards. His works on tribal communities explore their culture, language, literature, socio-economic status and the impact of modernization on their societies.
